Bally Total Fitness is an industry leader in the club-based fitness market. During my tenure, Bally's revenue was approximately $1 billion with over 400 clubs nationwide as well as international franchise clubs. The technology stack at Bally included a services oriented architecture which supported a custom membership and billing system, multi-channel call centers, retail sales, food services, retail distribution, financial services, web based e-commerce, mobile website and applications, Oracle E-Business Suite and consumer facing interactive displays.
- Designed and executed an IT turnaround strategy including major technology refreshes of core systems
- Hired, developed and managed a high-performing, multi-location 150 person IT staff
